The Disney Store will launch the “New Year Collection” for the New Year on January 1, 2026. The collection includes items such as plush toys and mascots in light-colored cat costumes reminiscent of “Japanese spring,” which will make you feel like the New Year just by decorating them.
The plush toys (3,800-4,000 yen) are in traditional Japanese colors, such as indigo for Mickey Mouse and light red and plum for Minnie Mouse. Each has a mascot of a lucky charm such as a daruma doll, a sea bream, or a feather duster, giving the dolls a festive atmosphere.
The annual “Lucky Bag” (3,500 yen) will also go on sale in stores sequentially from December 27. The bag contains a stuffed animal with a zodiac design (one of Mickey or Minnie), a stainless steel bottle (one of Mickey or Minnie), and other items equivalent to about three times the price of the original.
