APA HOTEL GUNMA OHTA EKIGITA rebranded. 10-minute walk from the station, all 127 rooms have new urban hotel specifications.

On January 26, APA Hotel opened “APA Hotel ” (14-25 Honmachi, Ota City, Gunma Prefecture), which signed a franchise agreement with Hitoshi Communications.

It is located a 10-minute walk from the north exit of Ota Station on the Tobu Isezaki Line, Kiryu Line, and Koizumi Line, and about 15 minutes by car from the Ota-Kiryu Interchange on the Kita-Kanto Expressway. Since Ota City is a “manufacturing industrial city” with thriving automobile-related industries, the company aims to capture leisure demand through sightseeing and sporting events in addition to business demand.

The hotel has a total of 127 guest rooms. In rebranding, the hotel was remodeled to the specifications of the “new urban hotel” that APA Hotel has been advocating. All guest rooms are equipped with large LCD televisions (50-inch or larger) and “APA Digital Information,” which provides information on the hotel’s website on the TV screen. In addition, the bedside centralized controller is equipped with a USB port (Type-A/C) and HDMI terminal in addition to a light switch, enhancing functionality.

HITO COMMUNICATIONS, the operator of the hotel, is a franchisee of APA HOTELS, mainly in the northern Kanto region, and this is the sixth property it has managed. At the ceremony, APA Hotel President Fumiko Motoya expressed her hopes that the company will achieve its “mega-franchise concept of 10 buildings with 1,800 rooms, mainly in the Kanto area.
