Toei Oedo Line’s “Toarin” and “Min-kuru” Designs to Appear at Child-Raising Support Space. The theme is “Outing on Toei Transportation.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau will add four more trains to the Toei Oedo Line with childcare support spaces designed by “Toaran,” the mascot character of the Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line), and “Min-kuru,” the mascot character of the Toei Bus, and begin operating them sequentially on February 6.

The childcare support spaces are decorated to make passengers with small children feel at ease, and are located in the free space of Car No. 3 and No. 6. With this addition, the total number of train cars installed on the Toei Subway will now total 75.

Each car is decorated with two different designs. Both designs depict Toarin and Min kuru outings and the four seasons under the theme of “Enjoy your outings on the Toei Transit! and depicting the four seasons.

The space is open to everyone, including the elderly and wheelchair users, and operation information can be checked on the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau website or the Toei Kotsu App on the day of the ride.
