JR West will operate extra trains on some lines in the Kinki area from midnight on December 31 to around 3:00 a.m. on January 1, 2026.
The Osaka Loop Line and JR Yumesaki Line (Sakurajima Line) will operate at approximately 10-minute intervals on all lines. The Manyo Mahoroba Line (Sakurai Line), which has Hatsumode spots along the line, will also operate at approximately 40-minute intervals between Nara Station and Sakurai Station.
No announcement of temporary train settings has been made for the JR Kyoto Line, JR Kobe Line, Nara Line, and other lines that had operations in 2024.
