Kamenoi Hotel Atami Annex (2-13-77, Mizuguchi-cho, Atami, Shizuoka, Japan) will renovate the hotel under the concept of a “villa” and reopen on March 30, 2026 (March 20 for some rooms).
The design theme is “Window of Atami. Taking advantage of its location on a hill overlooking Atami, it creates an extraordinary space with a sense of calm and openness by cutting out the spectacular view, which changes with the seasons and time of day, like a window frame.
Two automatic check-in machines have been installed at the front desk to enable smooth check-in without standing in line. A total of 45 guest rooms, mainly twin rooms that have been remodeled into triple rooms, will be available. In addition, a “Deluxe Force” room that can accommodate up to five people and a 77m2 “open-air bath room” have been newly added, and the Japanese-style and Japanese-Western-style rooms have been refurbished, and some rooms have balconies to enhance the sense of openness. The hotel will cater to a wide range of accommodation needs, from couples and married couples to families and groups.
The restaurant has been renovated into a spacious, high-quality dining room with a total seating capacity of 110. In the morning, the restaurant overlooks Atami city and Sagami Bay, and offers a buffet of more than 60 Japanese and Western dishes, including Shizuoka’s local delicacies such as sakura shrimp kakiage (deep fried sakura shrimp).
In the evening, guests can enjoy authentic Japanese kaiseki meals in a relaxed atmosphere that makes the most of seasonal ingredients.
Reservations for rooms, including those subject to the March 20 pre-opening, will begin on December 19, 2025.
