Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau will operate a “New Year’s Eve Special Train” on all subway lines from midnight to 2 a.m. on January 1, 2026.
On the Kuko Line and Hakozaki Line, 20 regular trains will operate approximately every 30 minutes between Meinohama Station and Fukuoka Airport Station and between Nakasu Kawabata Station and Kaizuka Station (no direct service to the Chikuhi Line). On the Nanakuma Line, 10 trains will operate between Hashimoto Station and Hakata Station approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.
From December 30 to January 4, the train will operate on a Saturday and holiday schedule. The “Friday Night Train,” which operates late at night on Fridays, will not operate on January 2.
