Sakai Moving Center launched the “Kyushu Shinkansen de Same-Day Moving” plan, utilizing JR Kyushu’s “Haya! delivery service provided by JR Kyushu.
This plan allows customers to load their belongings on the Kyushu Shinkansen train between Hakata Station and Kagoshima Chuo Station and move from the Fukuoka area to the Kagoshima area on the same day. Trucks will be used to transport between the old and new residences and the stations.
Applications are accepted through a dedicated call center (0120-14-1774), and fees are determined after an estimate is made at a site visit. The service will mainly be offered to single people, but in the future the company is considering offering it as a service for families as well.
As a bonus, 20% of the contract amount (up to 10,000 points) will be returned in JR Qupo.
