Ryohin Keikaku, a MUJI company, will start selling the “Sturdy Storage Box with Recycled Polypropylene, Shallow Shape, Dark Gray” products at the MUJI Net Store on January 14.
Storage box with handle and fixed lid. The load capacity is approximately 100 kg, and they can be stacked or sat on top of each other. The material used is recycled polypropylene, which is made from recycled automobile bumpers from Honda Motor Co.
The new “shallow type” has a height of 25 cm, making it more compact than the previous product (height: 37 cm). The use of recycled materials has also been increased to a maximum of 94%.
Prices are 1790 yen for the small size with 18L capacity, 2290 yen for the large size with 30L capacity, and 3290 yen for the extra large size with 40L capacity.
