Kamenoi Hotel Nikko Yunishigawa All Inclusive Hotel (1033 Yunishigawa, Nikko-shi, Tochigi Prefecture) will offer the “Satoyama Cuisine and Luxury Crab Plan” from January 9 to 29 as a commemorative plan for the first anniversary of the start of the all-inclusive service. Rates start at 15,600 yen per person per night with two meals.
The hotel’s signature satoyama cuisine buffet is lavishly combined with snow crab, a delicacy unique to winter. The menu includes a variety of snow crab dishes such as char-grilled, which is a local dish of Yunishigawa, nabe, and takikomi-gohan (rice cooked in a pot). During the event, visitors can also enjoy a sake comparison among the four prefectures of snow country, Tochigi, Fukushima, Gunma, and Niigata, which is being held at the same time.
The all-inclusive system, which began on December 1, 2024, is a form of fare that includes all dinner and breakfast, alcohol and other beverages at restaurants and lounges, the nightly meal of “Jigoku Meguri Yonaki Tantanmen,” and activities in the hotel.
While being healed in the large bath, open-air bath, and sauna of Yunishigawa Onsen, a famous hot spring in the northern Kanto region, guests can enjoy Tochigi brand eggs in a variety of ways, such as local cuisine with their favorite ingredients grilled on a robata grill at the dinner buffet, and freshly cooked and hot dashimaki eggs served live at the breakfast buffet.
