Expo ’70 Osaka-Kansai Memorial Caravan: Exhibition “Connecting to the Future” held in 4 cities, including VR video experience, Myakmyak House, large roof ring model exhibit, and official merchandise sales

The Secretariat of the Headquarters for International Expositions, Cabinet Secretariat, will hold the “Osaka-Kansai Expo Memorial Caravan: Expo ’70 to the Future” from February 19. Beginning with the Tokyo venue, the exhibition will tour a total of four cities: Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Sendai. Admission is free.

This project is designed to allow those who were unable to attend the Osaka-Kansai Expo to experience the charms of the Expo through a variety of content, and to allow those who did attend to relive the excitement of the event.

At the venue, there will be a “EXPO 2025 360° Theater,” a VR video experience of the inside of the Osaka/Kansai Expo pavilion, the “Myakmyak House,” which was well received at the Expo, a model exhibition of the large roof ring, and an official pop-up store for the Osaka/Kansai Expo 2025 to sell officially licensed products. The store will also sell officially licensed products.

In addition, a booth will be set up for GREEN×EXPO 2027 (2027 International Horticultural Exposition) to be held in Yokohama in 2027, and a meet-and-greet by Myakmyak and Tungtunku (advance lottery required) will be held.

In addition, visitors can enjoy the “Photo Exhibition – 184 Days in the Making” and the “World Myakmyak Exhibition” featuring approximately 100 uniquely arranged Myakmyak figures.
