Disney Store will release a new cherry blossom-themed collection on January 16. Disney Flagship Tokyo, Tokyo Disney Resort stores, and online stores will begin pre-sales on January 13.
The new collection features Winnie the Pooh and Disney characters. The lineup includes plush toys dyed in gentle cherry blossom colors and sundries for spring leisure activities.
The Pooh design items feature art with a soft touch. The atmosphere is as if the wind is carrying spring to you. Items available include a “leisure sheet” (3,000 yen) and a “cold bag and pouch set” (2,000 yen).
Disney character items also include adorable “plushies” (4,000-4,400 yen each) with a little cherry blossom petal on their heads and hands. The key point of this item is that it is sculpted to look as if the cherry blossoms are reflected in its eyes.
Also on sale is “Urupocha-chan” (1,800 yen), which enhances the cherry blossom viewing mood. The unique appearance of Baymax and his cat Mochi in the style of sakura mochi (rice cake with cherry blossoms).
The lineup also includes beauty items that make perfect gifts. The lineup includes hand cream (650 yen) and face mask (350 yen). All of them have a girly atmosphere with illustrations of cherry blossoms and cherries scattered on the packages.
