Tokyo Metropolitan Cruise 2026, Round Kyushu/Kii/Cheju, 3 dates at a time open to the public. Applications accepted through February 20 for Tokyo residents and workers only.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has announced the schedule for the “TMG Cruise” for fiscal year 2026, with three dates set for April.

The “Tomin Cruise” is a cruise for residents and workers in the Tokyo metropolitan area at a lower price than usual. The cruise is offered at a 20% discount on the “Citizens’ Cruise Fare” for tours currently on sale to the general public (operated by HIS) that use the Mitsui Ocean Fuji.

Applications will be accepted until February 20 through a dedicated form on the website. Only 15 rooms in “Veranda Suite E” will be set up for each session, and the right to participate will be determined by lottery in case of a large number of applications.

Since all of the above include entry into Korea, it is necessary to obtain a passport with a remaining validity of at least six months counting from the date of disembarkation.

The first cruise is the “Spring Cruise from Tokyo to Fukue and Around Kyushu,” departing April 6 and lasting 9 nights and 10 days. The cruise will circumnavigate Kyushu via Kagoshima, Yatsushiro, and Fukue (Goto Islands), with a visit to Pusan, Korea on the seventh day. It will then return to Tokyo via Hososhima in Miyazaki Prefecture. In principle, the cruise will be free at each port of call, but optional tours are also available for an additional fee.

The rate is 452,000 yen (per person based on double occupancy), with a 150% increase for single occupancy and a 25% discount for elementary school students and younger. All rates are subject to change.

The second cruise will be a 7-night/8-day “Spring Cruise to Wakayama/Toba from Tokyo,” departing on April 15. The cruise will first pass through Kobe and arrive at Pusan, and after the fifth day, it will continue on the Pacific Ocean side to visit Saiki, Wakayama, and Toba. The fare is 395,200 yen.

The third cruise, departing April 22, is titled “Spring Cruise to Sasebo, Ibusuki, and Cheju Island from Tokyo/Yokohama” and will take passengers on a 7-night/8-day tour of Cheju Island, Sasebo, and Ibusuki, Korea. The fare for this cruise is also 395,200 yen.
