Sunflower Anniversary Commemorative Events to be Held on Kansai-Kyushu Service Routes. Commemorative novelties will be distributed and limited-edition goods will be sold.

On February 1, MOL Sunflower will hold “Sunflower Anniversary Day 2026” on its Kansai-Kyushu routes (Osaka-Beppu, Oita-Kobe, and Osaka-Shibushi).

February 1 marks the 54th anniversary of the first Sunflower. On the Kansai-Kyushu route, a cotton purse with a design of the Sunflower of each route will be distributed as a commemorative novelty on each flight operating on that day. The novelty is a joint project with the “Sunflower Anniversary Campaign 2026,” which is being conducted on the Tokyo metropolitan area – Hokkaido route, and uses a design that is common to both.

In addition, a limited number of spoons engraved with the name of the event and the date of embarkation will be available for sale, and an onboard event featuring a magician and an artist is also planned.
