Sanrio will operate a wrapping train on JR East’s Yamanote Line until February 1 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pom Pom Penguin.
The side of the car doors will be decorated with Pom Pom Puddin and his friends in their daily lives. Inside the train, Pom Pom Pudding will be featured in all kinds of advertisements, including hangings, walls, slides, and door windows, and stickers will be placed on the glass surface of the through-door. The Train Channel (in-train signage) will show a special 4-minute animated film.
Only one train is in operation, and train operations are not disclosed to the public. Even during the operation period, the train may not be in operation.
