Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium collaborates with “Atsumare Animal Crossing”. Workshop to make wreaths of sea turtles, limited-edition goods for sale, etc.

Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium (2-7-1 Kinjofuto, Minato-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), operated by the aquarium brand SEA LIFE, will hold a “Sea Creatures: Interactive Exhibition” in collaboration with the Nintendo Switch game “Atsumare Animal Crossing”. The exhibition will run from January 30 to May 11.

At the event, more than 30 types of sharks and seafood that appear in Atsumare Animal Crossing will be on display. Commentary by museum curator Futa, who appears in the game, and panels with trivia by the facility’s zookeepers will be set up for visitors to enjoy. In the backyard experience tour, visitors can try feeding the fish using paper bags designed in the image of “Sakana no Maki-Esa” (Sakana’s Maki-Esa).

One of the events, “Ikimono Sagashi” cards, which allow visitors to search for creatures on display, are sold at a special counter in the museum. The price is 300 yen.

The workshop to make a “wreath of sea turtles” will be held every day during the period at the Education Room on the first floor of the museum, and is limited to 20 people per day. The workshop fee is 1,500 yen.

Limited collaboration goods such as pouches (1,300 yen), T-shirts (4,200 yen), and A4 clear files (300 yen) will also be available.
