JR Shikoku offers “Sumaeki Weekday 1-Day Pass” with unlimited rides on limited expresses, available on weekdays in February via smartphone app.

JR Shikoku will release the “Sumaeki Weekday 1-Day Pass” available only on weekdays in February via the JR Shikoku ticket application “Shikoku Smart Ekichan”. Fares are 9,000 yen for adults and 4,500 yen for children (only for use at the same time as an adult).

This special ticket allows unlimited rides for one day on non-reserved seats in ordinary and limited express trains on all JR Shikoku lines (including between Utazu and Kojima) and ordinary trains between Kubokawa and Wakai on the Tosa Kuroshio Railway line. The tickets are available on weekdays from February 2 to 27, and will be available on the Sumaeki application from January 30. Paper tickets will not be sold at the Midori-no-madoguchi (ticket window).

When using a reserved seat in a standard car or green car of a limited express train, only the ticket portion is valid (can be used by purchasing a separate fare ticket). However, it is not possible to board the Sunrise Seto.

During the period of use, there will be days when trains are suspended on some of the subject sections due to the intensive daytime construction work. For details, please refer to JR Shikoku’s news release.
