Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, offers “Imizu Shokubari Wari,” a travel assistance program that offers up to half-price lodging; reservations accepted from February 1.

Imizu City in Toyama Prefecture will launch the “Imizu Shokubetsu Wari Campaign” on February 1, 2012, offering discounts of up to half price for lodging in the city. The discount applies to check-ins from February 6 to March 15.

When you make a reservation for “a plan that includes lodging and dinner at a restaurant designated by the lodging facility” at one of the 15 eligible lodging facilities, you will receive a subsidy of up to half of the total fee (up to 10,000 yen per person). In addition, as part of the “Imizu Tomari Wari” program, visitors can also receive a subsidy of up to half of the fee (up to a maximum of 5,000 yen per person) for “single accommodation plans” such as overnight stays with no meal or meals at the accommodation facility.

Reservations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on February 1. Reservations will be accepted through the methods specified by each lodging facility (telephone, official website of the lodging facility, etc.).
