Expo ’70 record exhibition of old and new, held at the Expo ’70 Pavilion in Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. Stamp rally and kitchen cars with food from around the world.

The Osaka Come and See Campaign Executive Committee will hold the “Remember EXPO in Banpaku Kinen Park,” a special Myakmyak reunion project, at the Banpaku Kinen Park (Senri Banpaku Park, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture), the site of the 1970 Osaka Expo, from February 21 to 23.

This event will be held in conjunction with the relocation of the two “Myakmyak Monuments” that were installed at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site in 2025. The “Welcome” statue at the East Gate will be installed in front of the Sun Plaza, and the “Excitement” statue at the West Gate will be installed in front of the Peace Rose Garden.

The “Expo ’70 Pavilion” annex, a commemorative building for the 1970 Osaka Expo, will feature an exhibition of old and new Expo records, an exhibit of uniforms that decorated the venue, and a special exhibition looking back on each Expo with posters and videos.

In the upper plaza, there will be a kitchen car where visitors can enjoy food from around the world, a photo spot built inside a dome tent with Myakmyak painted on it, and a snow plaza and snow slide of about 300 m2.

In addition, a stamp rally will be held inside and outside the park, where visitors can stamp both old and new stamps at the same time.

Participation is free (park entrance fees and food and beverages are not included), and the event runs from 11:00 to 16:30. The first day of the event will begin at 11:30, after the Myakmyak reopening ceremony. For details on the ceremony, please check the special page of Osaka Prefectural Government.
