JR Kyushu will launch the “Shimabara Peninsula – Nagasaki Enjoyment Ticket,” which allows unlimited rides on JR, buses, trains, and ferries, as part of the “GO QUEST” tourism campaign for Saga and Nagasaki prefectures, which runs until March 31.
Free rides on JR Kyushu Line between Isahaya and Nagasaki, Nagasaki City buses (within the designated section), and Shimabara Railway trains, buses, and ferries. As an added benefit, discounts on admission and usage fees are offered at more than 50 facilities, including Nagasaki’s Glover Garden, the Nagasaki Ropeway, and one-day baths on the Shimabara Peninsula.
The period of use is from February 1 to March 31. Prices are 3,600 yen for 2 days and 4,950 yen for 3 days (both for adults only, no children), and will go on sale from February 1 at “JR Kyushu Internet Train Reservations” and “reserved-seat ticket machines” at JR Kyushu Isahaya and Nagasaki stations.
Note that a separate express ticket is required when using the West Kyushu Shinkansen and limited express trains (between Isahaya and Nagasaki).
