Taiheiyo Kaiun Ferry and Tomakomai Port Development will jointly exhibit at the 60th Tomakomai Skating Festival to be held in Tomakomai, Hokkaido on February 7 and 8, and hold a “Ship Gacha in Tomakomai” to win tickets for the Tomakomai to Sendai route.
The capsule toy vending machine is a lottery-type machine, in which the winner is guaranteed to win a Taiheiyo Ferry boarding ticket of the grade indicated on the winning ticket in the capsule. The vending machine is limited to a one-way trip between Tomakomai and Sendai, and can be drawn for 7,000 yen per ticket. A total of five grades are available, from “B sleeper” (regular fare: 11,900 yen) to the jackpot “semi-suite” (regular fare: 35,200 yen), and no matter which grade you win, you get a great deal.
The number of tickets sold is limited to 100 per day, one per person, and will end when all the tickets are sold out. Payment can be made by cash or PayPay, and the priority boarding tickets are available only during A period and are valid from March 1 to February 28, 2027.
In the past, the event was held at the “Nagoya Festival” held every year in October, and it was so popular that 700 tickets were sold out in two days. In response to requests after the festival ended for the event to be held again or outside of Nagoya, it was decided to hold the event in Tomakomai for the first time.
