The Expo 2025 Osaka/Kansai Master License Office will reopen the Junkudo Bookstore Dojima Avanza Official Store (1-6-20 Dojima, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) on January 31.
The sales floor area has been expanded to approximately double its previous size, and the development of officially licensed products has been strengthened. The store will also be the first official store to have a permanent museum, “Myakmyak Fureai Hiroba,” inside the building.
The Fureai Plaza will feature an exhibit with a gimmick that changes colors when photographed with a flash, a photo spot for commemorating visits to the store, and a board and digital signage where visitors can send messages.
In addition, a Myakmyak meet-and-greet photo event is scheduled at the Fureai Plaza on an irregular basis, marking the first time that a permanent location where visitors can interact with Myakmyak outside the venue has been established. The details and schedule will be announced on the official X (@expo2025storemj), but the company has already announced that two photo sessions will be held on the opening day, January 31 (from 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.).
Applications will be accepted on PIA’s website from 18:00 on January 26 to 23:59 on January 27, and the results will be announced around 18:00 on January 29. Participation is free.
