Hankyu’s Osaka-Umeda Station stop will be moved from January 24, 2012. Station Renewal Begins; Vacant Space to be Used to Enhance Station Facilities

Hankyu Corporation will move the stopping position of trains on each platform at Osaka Umeda Station by approximately 14 meters toward Nakatsu and Juso on and after January 24.

This is part of the renovation work announced in November 2025. The vacant space will be used for expansion of facilities and to secure more space in the concourse, and the layout of ticket gates and the “Information Counter” will be reviewed.

The move will be made from the west side of the platform, with Lines 7 to 9 (Kobe Line platform) starting with the first trains on January 24, Lines 4 to 6 (Takarazuka Line platform) in the spring, and Lines 1 to 3 (Kyoto Line platform) in the summer.
