Lake Sagami MORI MORI “Snow Paradise,” one of the largest snow playgrounds in Kanto, opens on December 6.

Adventure resort Sagami Lake MORI MORI (1634 Wakayanagi, Midori-ku, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will open its outdoor snow playground “Snow Paradise” on December 6.

Snow Paradise, one of the largest snow paradises in the Kanto region with a total area of approximately 6,000m2, is accessible in about 50 minutes by car from the Tokyo metropolitan area, where visitors can enjoy sledding and playing in the snow while surrounded by nature. It has a 50-meter-long, 30-meter-wide giant sled slope and a children’s area where children can build snowmen and have snowball fights, making it a great place for small children to make their snow play debut.

On the opening day of Snow Paradise, a “Sledding Event with Snowy Warumono “Yukiwalda”” will be held from 11:30 a.m., and baked sweet potato brûlée will be served. Participation is free, and the baked sweet potato brûlée will be served to the first 50 children of elementary school age and younger.

Lake Sagami MORI MORI” also offers camping fields and athletic facilities. Visitors can enjoy a full day of outdoor recreation, including playing in the snow.
