Sanrio Puroland (1-31 Ochiai, Tama City, Tokyo) will open “Sanrio Puroland 35th Anniversary,” an event celebrating its 35th anniversary, tomorrow, December 5.
The main attraction of the festival was the new main parade, “The Quest of Wonders Parade,” the first new parade in 10 years. At the opening ceremony held on the 4th, Dean Fujioka and Shota Aoi, who will appear as voice actors in the new parade, and TAKAHIRO, who will choreograph the theme song, took the stage. All the characters, including Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pom Pom Pudding, Kuromi, and others wearing limited-edition parade costumes, were also on hand to express their gratitude for 35 years and to invite all generations to come and enjoy this special anniversary celebration that can be enjoyed by all.
On this day, the new parade “The Quest of Wonders Parade” was unveiled for the first time, and the main theme song “My Happiness” was released (no spoilers below). The story begins one day when Hello Kitty finds a mythical book that contains a treasure that will make her happy forever, and she sets off on a journey of adventure with the characters. For the first time, a float with video, smoke, and mist have been added to the show, and the symbolic “Tree of Wisdom” will be spectacularly illuminated. Before the show begins, a lecture on the “My Happy Dance” choreography will be given to the guests, so please enjoy dancing and singing along.
The performance will be held on the first floor of Puro Village (balcony seats on the second floor), last approximately 25 minutes, and be performed once or twice a day. Performances from December 5 to January 13, 2026 will be sold by lottery, and the performance schedule beyond that will be announced on the official website as needed.
During the anniversary period, the 3rd floor entrance will be specially decorated and a photo spot featuring the “Mirror of Treasures,” which also appears in the parade, will be set up as a constant feature. You can enjoy “Mirror Selfie” with the mirrors depicting 35 characters in honor of the 35th anniversary.
Also new is the 35th anniversary limited edition parade light “Wonder Ribbon Light” (3,850 yen). The ribbon-shaped light glows in more than 100 different color combinations, and the center part can be customized with one of the “Wonder Ribbon Light Jewels” (14 types, 550 yen each), which are sold separately. You can wave the lights to join the parade, or enjoy the “Neck Strap” (2 types, 1,430 yen each), which is convenient for carrying around the museum and can be used to create your own “guess-the-activities” coordination.
Other items available at the entrance shop include “Sanrio Puroland 35th Anniversary” limited edition charms (1,320 yen) and can badges (660 yen), as well as lunch totes (3,080 yen), eco bags with pouches (2,090 yen) and big tote bags (3,960 yen) for everyday use. The entrance store will carry these items.
The limited menu offered at the food court will also include the “35th Anniversary Cake” (1,500 yen, with novelty original postcard), a fluffy shortcake with strawberry sauce in between and topped with Kitty marshmallows.
During this period, the passports that can be purchased at the ticket counter on the day of admission will be specially designed with a 35th anniversary “ribbon” motif, with a total of eight types of passports available. The “Day Passport” is priced from 3,900 yen for adults and 2,800 yen for children and seniors.
