JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with World Bank Group President Ajay Banga at JICA headquarters on December 5.
The two organizations continue to conduct strategic annual high-level consultations, “Deep Dive,” with the aim of creating further development impact.
During the meeting, the two sides confirmed the results of cooperation to date and policies for further strengthening cooperation. In particular, they exchanged views on global health, the Oceania region, the Africa region, and the possibility of cooperation utilizing private funds.
