Kintetsu/Hanshin “Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket” also on sale for 2026. Round-trip train + souvenir, must be purchased by the end of the year.

Kinki Nippon Railway and Hanshin Electric Railway will sell special tickets convenient for New Year’s visits to Ise Jingu Shrine, including “Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket. In principle, the sales period is from November 15 to December 31, and the tickets must be purchased within the year 2025.

Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket

The product includes a free train ticket between Matsusaka and Kenshima stations, a round-trip ticket to the same section, two exchange tickets for express tickets within the free section, an exchange ticket for a “Oriental Zodiac Ornament” at Ise Jingu Shrine, and an entry postcard for winning local specialty items. The period of use is from December 30 to January 31, 2026, and the ticket is valid for three consecutive days from the start of use. Discounts are available at some facilities along the line, such as Toba Aquarium, upon presentation of the ticket.

There are three versions: the “Kansai Version,” which starts and ends in a wide area of Nara, Kyoto, and Osaka Prefectures; the “Hanshin Version,” which includes a free ticket for all Hanshin lines (except Kobe Kosoku Line) for a round trip from Osaka Namba Station; and the “Tokai Version,” which starts and ends between Kintetsu Nagoya Station and Kintetsu Kanie Station, and is also available without a limited express ticket exchange ticket. Prices are as follows

Kansai edition: 5,800 yen (2,900 yen for children)

Hanshin version: 6300 yen (adults only)

Tokai edition: 5,200 yen (2,600 yen for children)

Without limited express ticket exchange: 1,100 yen to 3,300 yen (varies depending on arrival/departure station; half-price for children)

The Hanshin version is sold at the station manager’s office at Osaka Umeda, Amagasaki, Koshien, Mikage, and Kobe Sannomiya stations, the Osaka Namba Station limited express ticket office, and the Hanshin Railway Service Center at Kobe Sannomiya Station. Other types of tickets are available at express ticket offices at major Kintetsu stations, as well as by mail order from the Kintetsu website. They are also available at major travel agencies.
