Iwate Prefecture and Pokémon Inc. announced that they will open a park in April 2026 with Ishitsubute and Iwatype Pokémon designed into the playground equipment.
As part of a partnership agreement between the prefecture and the company to revitalize the local community, the company will donate six pieces of playground equipment and peripheral facilities based on the motif of “Iwate Support Pokémon” Ishitsubute and Iwatype Pokémon to a park outside the Aza snake house in Hongu, Morioka City. This donation marks the third “Ishitsubute Park” in the prefecture.
