Yoshida Kaban will hold its 90th anniversary exhibition “Every day is a new beginning” at Kudan House (1-15-9 Kudan-kita, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) from November 14 to 16.
Items related to the company and its archives will be on display. Tools used by founder Kichizo Yoshida and bags created for the movie “Heaven and Hell,” directed by Akira Kurosawa, will be on display. An installation using the Kudan House space will also be used to experience the product concept, display items commemorating the 90th anniversary, and show a short film.
In addition to limited items for sale at the event, a limited number of silk-screen printed posters of artwork by Tadanori Yokoo will also be available.
Visits must be reserved by date and time, and the ticket price is 1,300 yen. Junior high school students and younger are free, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Credit cards, transportation IC cards, and QR code payment are the only accepted methods of payment at the venue.
