Disney Store will open “Disney Store LaLaport Tachikawa Tachihi” on December 3. Limited items will be sold to commemorate the opening.
The interior of the new store is inspired by “a picture book brought to life by the magic of Disney. The store will be decorated with artwork of Disney characters created by the legendary “Nine Old Men” animators.
A Mickey Mouse statue dressed as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” will greet guests at the entrance. Approximately 1,300 items will be on display, including seasonal items, jointly planned items, and the popular “UniBEARsity,” “UniBestiez,” and “Urupocha-Chan” items.
The store will also sell limited items. The items include a plush keychain (2,800 yen each) with a casual coordination that evokes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse relaxing in the park, a tote bag (1,200 yen) with the word “TACHIKAWA” on it, and a “cookie in a drawstring” (1,500 yen). The “Cookie in a Drawstring” (1,500 yen) is also available.
In addition, three “Urupo-chan” items are available: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in dressy outfits perfect for the grand opening, and Donald Duck in an “udo” costume, a specialty of Tachikawa City. Each is priced at 1,800 yen.
In addition, an “original tote bag” of limited design will be distributed to customers who purchase 5,000 yen or more. Store cards can be obtained by asking a Cast Member in the store. A 5X point campaign for Disney Store Club members only will also be offered until December 7.
On the opening day, reservations to visit the Disney Store using the Disney Store Club App are required.
