On November 1, Citizen Watch will release a limited edition model from the Citizen Promaster brand to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Blue Impulse, an acrobatic flight team of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
With a compact case diameter of 40mm, this model is easy to wear for many people. The design was inspired by the colors and logo of the Blue Impulse aircraft. The Blue Impulse emblem is placed on the dial and back cover, creating a special feeling unique to the limited edition model.
The CA4665-59L (stainless steel band model) is colored navy blue and white, the colors of the current Blue Impulse T-4 aircraft. The yellow used for the chronograph hands and indexes adds a sporty accent. Limited edition of 900 pieces, priced at 99,000 yen.
The CA4661-09A (cowhide band model) is based on the team’s traditional white color, combined with deep blue and silver. While giving a classic impression, the blue coloring adds a sense of fearlessness. This watch is limited to 500 pieces and is priced at 88,000 yen.
Common to both models, the Blue Impulse emblem is engraved on the back cover. In addition, an exclusive logo box with a T-4 flight scene photo card is included.
