Also ranked in second place was “Katsuo no Tataki 2.5kg” from Ainan Town, also in Ehime Prefecture. The product is delivered frozen and vacuum-packed (in small packages) by the end of the year. It can be stored in the freezer for approximately 180 days and can be defrosted under running water for 10-15 minutes. The donation amount is 10,000 yen.
Third place went to “1kg fillet of silver salmon” from Daiki-cho, Mie Prefecture, frozen in individual pieces for easy preparation in just the portion you need. The fillets are seasoned with salt, so they can be enjoyed grilled as is. It is a special product that is out of specification (bruised, unevenly shaped, or color-blocked) during the production process, but the freshness and flavor are said to be the same. It should be stored at -18℃ or lower and has a shelf life of one year from the date of manufacture. The donation amount is 6,000 yen.
