Mitsubishi Estate has completed construction of a dedicated business jet facility at Shimojishima Airport, which will open on April 21.
The Miyako Shimojishima Airport Business Jet Terminal is part of the Shimojishima Airport Area International Passenger Facility Development, Operation, and Private Aircraft Acceptance Project being promoted by Okinawa Prefecture.
The terminal is equipped with CIQ facilities (customs, immigration, and quarantine) exclusively for business jet passengers, as well as a space designed to make passengers feel as if they are staying on Miyakojima for an extraordinary stay, and a sleeping area and pantry for flight operators.
