JR companies have announced the reservation status of reserved seats for trains operating during Golden Week in 2024.
Looking at the Shinkansen reservation rate alone, JR Hokkaido has about 19% (40,000 out of 220,000 seats), JR East has about 32% (840,000 out of 2.62 million seats), JR Tokai has about 29% (1.39 million out of 4.87 million seats), JR West has about 25% (820,000 out of 3.29 million seats), and JR Kyushu has about 28% (110,000 out of 400,000 seats).
