ANA has applied to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for a revision of the applicable fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be applied to tickets issued between June 1 and July 31.
The two-month average Singapore kerosene market price for February-March 2024 was $102.81 per barrel. Multiplying this by the average exchange rate of 149.52 yen per dollar for the same period, the yen equivalent of the Singapore kerosene market price would be 15,373 yen, and the fuel surcharge applicable to tickets issued in June and July would be based on the “above 15,000 yen to below 16,000 yen” standard.
