International Emergency Relief Aid for Snow Damage in Mongolia | News & Media

In response to a request from the Mongolian government for assistance for snow damage, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows.

The snow disaster in Mongolia has caused extensive human and material damage in the affected areas.

Damage as of March 19 (as announced by the Mongolian government)

Death toll: 13

Affected people: approx. 725,000

About 145,000 houses damaged
