APA Hotel announced that APA Hotel Kokura Station Shinkansen Exit (2-13-22 Asano, Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture) will cease operations after check-outs in FY2024 due to reconstruction work.
It will be located a minute walk from Kokura Station and in the vicinity of Mojiko Port and Kokura Castle. Aiming to open in 2026 as a newly built hotel, the hotel will be expanded from the existing 9-story building with 96 rooms to an 11-story building with 170 rooms.
During the construction period, guests are advised to use the APA Hotel Kokura Ekimae (2-14-65 Asano, Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture).
