On March 12, JR East announced its plan to install platform doors by FY2024. The company’s goal is to install platform doors at 330 stations on 758 tracks on major conventional lines in the Tokyo area by the end of FY2031.
In FY2024, the following 12 stations and 26 lines will be upgraded.
