New Balance Japan has launched the new spring edition of its outdoor wear collection, MT1996.
MT1996″ is a clothing line designed for a wide range of light field scenes that anyone can enjoy, such as picnics, river trips, and glamping. It is said that the technology and design of the “MT580” shoes from the “90s + MOUNTAIN TRAIL” series were used in depth while sprinkled with the philosophy of New Balance.
The new line features unique pattern work, high-function materials, and environmentally friendly eco-materials, while maintaining the retro design. Based on the concept of “a rash guard that can be worn on the street,” the new line uses Primeflex, a bi-component construction with a cross-section made of two polymers with different properties. While having a dry hand feel, it is sweat-absorbent, quick-drying, 4-way stretch, and UPF 40+. It can be used for sunburn and UV protection.
