This is the first in a series of “JR West Japan Limited Edition Beavers” jointly developed by the company and JR Service Net Kanazawa to commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line between Kanazawa and Tsuruga on March 16. The theme is “Travel West Japan with Beaver,” and each prefecture will be selected every three months and a limited edition Beaver will be released with an image of a typical gourmet dish from each area.

The company plans to release Setouchi Lemon Beaver, Takoyaki Beaver, and Mentai Beaver in the second and subsequent batches.

It will be sold at Seven-Eleven stores in JR West stations (including some citywide stores), Omiyage Kaido (Kinki, Sanyo, Kyushu areas), Entre Marche (Kinki, Sanyo areas), Omiyage Rakuichi (San-in area), Omiyage Dokoro (Hokuriku area), etc.
