On February 13, NTT DOCOMO and East Japan Railway Co., Ltd. launched a linkage between “d-payment” (Android version), an application provided by DOCOMO, and “Mobile Suica” operated by East Japan Railway Co.
In addition to being able to apply for a new Suica card from the d-payment application, users will be able to charge Suica cards with their d-points (including limited-time/limited-use points).
When recharging Suica from the d-payment application, d-points equivalent to 0.5% of the recharged amount (1 point per 200 yen) will be awarded. The accumulated d-points can be used to recharge Suica at the rate of 1 point = 1 yen.
In addition, the Suica balance and usage history for purchases and train and bus rides can also be checked within the d-payment application.
