Star Resort will open Ayanna Miyakojima (1130 Irabu-Ikemazoe, Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture) on April 26.
All rooms are detached villas, limited to seven per day. There are three types of rooms: “Executive Suite” with two bedrooms, “Sauna Suite” with sauna and water bath, and “Junior Suite” with one bedroom, all with private pool and terrace.
As an auberge offering local cuisine, the restaurant serves creative dishes with an awareness of local production for local consumption, and the bar offers cocktails that incorporate “Miyako Blue. The chef, Toyohiro Furuichi, uses French kaiseki techniques to entertain guests.
