JR West to Hold Express “Washu” Revival Tour and Limited Express “Yakumo” New Car Observation Event. Special operation of Shonan-colored 115 Series trains called “Pumpkin Trains.

JR West and the Osaka Come and See Campaign Executive Committee will hold a “Come and See Osaka! Campaign,” a revival express “Washu” mini-tour and limited express “Yakumo” observation event will be held on February 12.

The mini-tour will feature a Shonan-color 115 Series train, nicknamed the “pumpkin train” by railroad fans, which will be specially operated as the “Washu” express train that used to run between Kyoto, Osaka and Uno. The tour includes a photo spot before departure at Kobe Station, a mini-talk event inside the train, and a railroad photo exhibition.
