Enoden abolishes level-crossings at Enoshima and Hase Stations, and installs destination-specific ticket gates on Lines 1 and 2, respectively.

Enoshima Electric Railway will discontinue the on-premises level crossing at Enoshima and Hase Stations due to the introduction of a new signaling system with improved safety. The Enoshima Station and Hase Station will be operated with separate ticket gates for each destination from the first train on February 3 and February 17, respectively.

As a result, both stations will no longer be able to go back and forth between Line 1 (for Fujisawa) and Line 2 (for Kamakura) within the ticket gates.
