Part of the Hokuriku Expressway remains closed due to the earthquake, with cracks and other damage confirmed.

NEXCO Central Japan and NEXCO East Japan have closed some sections of the Hokuriku Expressway and other roads to traffic due to the earthquake that struck the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1, which has caused multiple cracks and other damage.

As of 8:00 a.m. on January 2, the road closures are between the Kaga IC and Hakusan IC, Kanazawa-Higashi IC and Kurobe IC, Kashiwazaki IC and Nishiyama IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, between the Itoigawa IC and Nose IC on the uphill line, and between the Oyabe Tonami JCT and Shirakawa-go IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway.
