JR West expands the service area of Series 227 “Urara”. The Sanyo Line will operate to Himeji and the Hakubi Line to Niimi.

JR West will expand the service area of the “Urara” Series 227 train for the Okayama area on January 20, 2024.

With this expansion, the new service will operate between Himeji Station and Okayama Station on the Sanyo Main Line and between Soja Station and Niimi Station on the Hakubi Line. The number of service sections will be expanded in the future.
