Signing of Minutes of Development Plan Study-type Technical Cooperation Discussion for Cambodia: Contributing to the Improvement of Access to Safe Water through the Formulation of Project Development Guidelines for Water Supply throughout Cambodia | News & Media

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Record of Discussions (R/D) with the Royal Government of Cambodia on January 12 in Phnom Penh on the “National Water Supply Project Planning Project,” a development program study-type technical cooperation.

Access to safe water in rural Cambodia remains low. Apart from the two water supply public corporations and 10 public water authorities in major cities, water services are provided by private operators, and an efficient division of roles between public and private water providers is needed to achieve a nationwide supply of safe water to the people.
