The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) released the JICA Sustainability Report 2023 on November 29.
In the context of growing global interest and action on issues related to sustainability, such as the SDGs, climate change, conservation of nature and resources, and protection of human rights, JICA has been preparing a Sustainability Report since FY2021.
The JICA Sustainability Report 2023 introduces data and activities related to sustainability promotion, while taking into account the basic concepts of international disclosure standards such as TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures). In particular, with ESG (Environment, Society, and Governance) as its core, the report has been enhanced by adding JICA’s initiatives in the social field in addition to the climate change field.
JICA will work as one organization to realize a sustainable world while developing relationships of trust with stakeholders.
