The feature of this product is that food is “steamed” by pressing it on the heated plate, which weighs approximately 800 g, to lock in the flavor of the food while cooking. When the press plate is rotated 45 degrees, the corners fit into the four grooves on the body, and it can be used as a lid for steaming ahi tuna, dumplings, fried eggs, etc.
Many conventional skillets with press plates have trouble finding a place to place the press plate when you want to check the browning status.
