Grant Aid Agreement Signed for Rwanda: Contributing to Stable Water Supply to Kigali Citizens through Improvement and Renewal of Water Transmission and Distribution Facilities | News & Media

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Grant Agreement (G/A) with the Government of the Republic of Rwanda on December 6 in Kigali City for a grant of up to 3,005 million yen for the “Water Supply Service Improvement Project in North Central Kigali City”.

This project aims to improve water pressure and reduce water leakage in the north-central area of Kigali City to ensure a stable water supply. This project is expected to improve the living environment of the local residents and contribute to Goal 3 (health and welfare for all) and Goal 6 (safe water and toilets worldwide) of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
