Tokyo Disney Resort will hold a special New Year’s event for eight days only, from January 1-8, 2024.
Prior to the New Year, restaurants in the Park will start pre-selling New Year’s menus from December 26! We will introduce three menus that you may be interested in.
The “Matcha Jelly & Black Sesame Mousse” (550 yen) is now available at the Sweetheart Café at Tokyo Disneyland and Zambini Brothers Ristorante at Tokyo DisneySea. The bitter, adult-flavored green tea jelly and thick black sesame mousse are a perfect match.
Mickey Mouse’s profile is topped with chocolate and berry sauce, creating a perfect balance of Japanese and Western flavors. For an additional 550 yen, a souvenir cup in the shape of a teacup is included. The dragon Mushu from the movie “Mulan” is designed in honor of the Year of the Dragon.
A warm New Year’s menu is also available for a limited time at Japanese restaurants in each park. At Tokyo Disneyland’s restaurant Restaurant Hokusai, you can order a Zoni Bowl for 400 yen in addition to the miso soup included in the set menu. Zoni Bowl” is made with clear soup stock and has an elegant flavor, and the aroma of yuzu (a type of citrus fruit) can be smelled when you take a sip.
At Restaurant Sakura at Tokyo DisneySea, you can also switch to a “Zoni Bowl” for an additional 700 yen on the set menu. This bowl is filled with eight ingredients: yakimochi, carrots, kamaboko, shrimp, duck balls, daikon (Japanese radish), yuzu (citrus fruit), and mitsuba (mitsuba)! This dish also boasts a relaxing and elegant flavor in a sumashi (clear soup) style.
